چکیده
Patients with preeclampsia or eclampsia may be associated hypertension, seizures and other neurologic symptoms deficits. A young female patient presented a neurological visual disturbance which included variable like disturbances, headache, altered consciousness mental status history of postpartum after an uneventful LUCS. She also gave two-bag blood transfusion one month ago. ophthalmic evaluation was performed. Detailed taking clinical followed by imaging study, potentially magnetic resonance (MRI), helped to confirm the diagnosis Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES). PRES is clinico-neuroradiological disorder neurotoxicity that typically involves confusion, seizures, occasionally loss vision. The exact pathophysiology still unclear has not been thoroughly explained. Hypertension endothelial cell injury pathognomic. Prompt management help recover early.

CASE REPORT A 56-year old female presented with new onset blurry vision, diplopia, headache, and dizziness, 24 hours after being discharged from her local hospital. Her initial hospitalization was for hypertensive urgency with blood pressure as high as 230mmHg systolic, requiring administration of IV enalaprilat. Her symptoms of visual disturbance, headaches, and dizziness started shortly after...

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a clinico-radiological syndrome characterized by a headache, seizures, altered mental status and visual loss and characterized by white matter vasogenic edema affecting the posterior occipital and parietal lobes of the brain predominantly. This clinical syndrome is increasingly recognized due to improvement and availability of brain imaging...

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a clinicoradiologic entity. Neurotoxicity with characteristic watershed CT/MR imaging features characterize this condition. This case report describes PRES syndrome in a 35-year-old patient admitted with eclampsia. On the first postpartum day; she developed severe headache, generalized tonic-clonic seizures and visual symptoms including tr...

Posterior reversible encephalopathy (PRES) is a clinical radiographic syndrome that is often characterized by headaches, altered consciousness, visual disturbances, and seizures in association with typical radiologic findings of vasogenic edema involving bilateral parietaloccipital lobes.1 However, the syndrome is not always reversible, and it is often not confined to either the white matter or...
